If you’re having difficulty walking because of fatigue, lack of strength, or your toes are having trouble clearing the ground, it can be frustrating. But not doing anything about it will only result in it getting worse. Studies have shown that repetitive motion can increase neuroplasticity and trigger muscle memory. That means that when you keep doing it and keep pressing on, your muscles remember how to perform.
We are gait experts, meaning we specialize in observing gait (walking) and then strengthening the muscles needed to correct the problems or symptoms we observe. And while some muscles might need strengthened, others might just need to be taught controlled, coordinated, and consistent movements. We have been doing it for 10 years and are very specialized to help you get back to doing the things you love.
Sneak Peek: This quick 5-minute guide will break down 9 different things that can help you manage your disease. We also show you how to strengthen the major muscles that are typically affected by MS and be proactive in taking control of your life. Discover how this report can help you gain muscular strength and flexibility, which can then lead to BETTER BALANCE and FEWER FALLS, keeping you OUT OF THE HOSPITAL… And it will help anyone frustrated by the lack of specific advice from a PCP or Neurologist. Are you looking for something more than just managing the Drugs you are taking? Take control of your life now!

Does Hearing “You Hit a Plateau” Frustrate You?
Most people that have been in physical, occupational, or speech therapy for MS have been told, “You hit a plateau. It’s time to discharge.” This is the most frustrating thing you can hear. Have you ever thought to yourself…
“What’s the point of even trying if I am just going to get worse?”
If you're reading this, it's clear that you're committed to improving your life and getting back to the activities you once enjoyed. If you’re like many of our clients, you might be feeling hopeless right now, as if the system has let you down. And that's because it has.
Current healthcare systems and corporate restrictions limit the time doctors can spend with you, leaving a gap in the support you need. Often, you're referred to large corporate clinics, only to face more frustrations and a lack of personalized care.
At many therapy clinics, therapists are forced to juggle multiple patients at once. You end up on a therapy mat or exercise bike, doing exercises that seem meaningless and ineffective. This mill-like approach doesn’t cater to your unique needs, which is why we focus on personalized care, just like we do for our clients at Cadence Physical Therapy. Our dedicated one-on-one sessions ensure you receive the attention and customized treatment plans that truly make a difference.

Before we start any type of treatment, we need to identify the root problem. This is the most crucial part of any recovery! So many times the underlying problem is not identified correctly. Our providers will help determine the root cause of the problem!
Once our therapist identifies the root cause of your problem, we will begin working on the solution. We have numerous revolutionary treatment techniques to improve overall function and to get you back to doing activities of daily life or things you love.
Achieving your goal is awesome, but “How do I maintain it?” is one of our most frequently asked questions. The goal during this phase is to create a program that you can do from home OR start a maintenance therapy program where we can help prevent a regression.

Being a privately owned facility we believe that one-on-one time with a patient is the most important thing that we can give. And it is this one-on-one devoted attention that allows us to see the amazing results we do! In a system where everyone is trying to push you out of the door, we welcome you and embrace your time.
Yes, You Read That Correctly…
Medicare released a Maintenance Therapy Program. In this program, therapists can actually see you to maintain your current status or abilities. It is no longer based on PROGRESS now, rather Skilled and Medically Necessary Therapy. Meaning that as long as therapy is skilled and medically necessary to prevent a decline in condition, we can continue therapy regardless of progress towards a goal.
BUT… Many therapists DO NOT know this or even know how to bill for it. So instead, they still discharge patients due to a lack of progress towards a certain goal. They tell them:
“You have hit a plateau. We need to discharge you. Here are some exercises you can do at home.”
Tired of pointless exercise recommendations?
We tailor our therapy goals to align with your specific objectives and daily activities. Our treatments are customized to help you achieve these goals, making therapy truly beneficial for you. Unlike generic instructions like "Perform 2 sets of leg extensions at 10 reps," we focus on practical tasks, such as walking around the grocery store or reaching the top cabinet to put dishes away. We guide you through the necessary balance, endurance, strength, and flexibility exercises to perform these tasks effectively.
Moreover, our approach emphasizes controlled, coordinated, and intentional movements, often requiring more flexibility than strength. We work on refining these movements, ensuring your muscles move as needed. This process may take time and practice, but it leads to significant improvements.
You've probably heard statements like, "You will never be able to do that again," or "You will always need a wheelchair (or walker/cane)." However, that's not always true. With our targeted therapy, we aim to defy these limitations and help you regain your independence.

We also relate our therapy goals to specific things that you want to get back to doing. Then we match our treatments specifically to those goals. This is what makes therapy worth it to you. We will not just tell you, “Perform 2 sets of leg extensions at 10 reps with both legs,” then leave you to do them. Instead, if it is getting harder to walk around the grocery store or reach up to the top cabinet to put dishes away, we help you work specifically on those things. We take you through the balance, endurance, strength, and flexibility to be able to do all those tasks.
Furthermore, most of the time we are working towards controlled, coordinated, and intentional movements. This usually doesn’t even require strength! Rather it involves practicing the movements and making sure the muscle has the flexibility to move the way we need it to. Sometimes it takes a while and lots of practice to get the movements down.
Chances are you have also been told things like, “You will never be able to do that again,” or “You will always need to use the wheelchair (or walker/cane).” That’s simply not always TRUE.
